Tim Powell

Tim has 25 years’ experience working in journalism, politics, public affairs and marketing.
He joined Cox Inall in 1996, becoming Managing Director in 2002, and is responsible for business strategy and support on major projects. Tim also remains a hands-on consultant, working on specific projects.
As an experienced and qualified facilitator, he often works on strategy and planning tasks for clients.
Tim and the team have developed a unique approach to training people to have productive interactions with media, and he is our lead media trainer.
Tim is an experienced crisis manager, providing advice and training to a number of manufacturing and life sciences companies.
Prior to Cox Inall, Tim worked for the Rural Press Group (Fairfax) for seven years as a journalist and as a media advisor to the Hon. John Fahey during his time as Premier of New South Wales.
Tim is also a member of the Public Relations Institute of Australia.
