Stacey Wordsworth
Stacey is an experienced journalist and communications professional with nearly two decades in print and broadcast media, political advocacy and public relations.
Born and raised on a beef cattle property in Central Queensland, Stacey has an innate understanding of both the media and consumer expectations as well as the complex issues impacting on rural and regional Australia and primary production.
She has worked as an editor with Fairfax Agricultural Media (formerly Rural Press Ltd) and was a reporter and presenter on regional, metropolitan, statewide and national radio for the ABC.
She has led significant communications strategies for the rural sector including the development and implementation of state and federal election strategies for agricultural advocacy groups AgForce Queensland and the National Farmers’ Federation.
Stacey has been recognised for her investigative work and interviewing skills, receiving two Queensland Media Awards (The Clarions) and being chosen as a finalist in journalism’s highest honour, the Walkley Awards. Stacey was also named a finalist in ABC Local Radio’s Broadcaster of the Year.
Stacey is a well-regarded facilitator and emcee and is based in Cox Inall’s Sydney office.
