Hilary is passionate about regional Australia and the issues faced by rural communities, with her knowledge and appreciation of agriculture stemming from involvement in the family’s commercial cattle property in the Upper Hunter Valley, NSW.

She also has an understanding of agriculture in a global context, having completed a year of agricultural economics at Purdue University in Indiana, USA, during her studies at the University of New England.

Hilary has broad event management experience following two years at the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW (RAS), working across the Agriculture, Marketing and Sydney Royal Easter Show teams.
